Locative Survey:

The required service and product that establishes on the ground the location and position of various structures or construction projects in relation to the boundaries of the involved site.   The location process may be termed a lay-out or stake-out survey. A locative Survey may evolve into or be one part of a Construction Survey in that the location process is not necessarily followed up by continuous or periodic observation of the site during the construction progress.
